Thinking about what to do with my (Swede) FN large ring 8mm rifle. I was going to have it rebarreled to 400 Whelen. I have the dies. But my "smith" turned out to be a bit of a twit. A bit too mouthy for even me. He seems to be good but I may go with a JES rebore to 9.3x62. Using the military barrel, with years for stresses to abate, sounds good. But I'm wondering if the diameter change is enough to use this barrel? My other solution could be to go to a 404 Jefferies. Would really like to try that caliber one day. I don't need it in the state of Misery but what does need have to do with it? Be Well Brothers, RZ. ... Sorry Leonard.

Call JES and leave a message. He will eventually call you back.
