It won’t be long before someone asks if 88s in a .223 is enough for elephants. Absolutely, those things are magical! Of course it’s all about shot placement…wouldn’t be legal for big game in Va though.

Reminds of a book I read about an escaped elephant in Erwin, TN around the turn of the century. It trampled the town drunk so they decided they had to kill it. They hung it from a logging train car. WTF!? How did the elephant get drunk? It wasn’t drunk, it trampled its handler that was known to be the local town drunk. Sorry for the confusion.
