Had been a bit since I bought any new rimfires. Stumbled across this 10/22 while browsing Lipseys. Although I'm not much of a 10/22 guy, this one was too pretty to pass up. When I went to my local shop to pick it up they also had this Winchester 61. Always wanted a rimfire pump so I added it to my tab also. Been plinking with the 61. Haven't gotten around to scoping the 10/22 yet. Plans for it are just a trigger upgrade and a 4 or 6x Rimfire when I find one.

That's a beautiful 10/22. Congrats! Damn nice Winchester too! I haven't seen one that nice in a long time. Saw one at about 50% the other day, for a few hundred, but I didn't even look at it. If it had looked like yours, I probably would have taken it home. Great snag there!!

Ky221: Wowsers - good for you on obtaining those two very cool Rifles!
Could you tell me about the Ruger 10/22 - whose stock is it and the barrels seems "sightless"?
I hope it shoots as good as it looks.

Ky221: Thank you for that link - I really like the looks of those with the fancy wood, checkering and 20" no sights barrels.
I wonder if the Lipseys folks would send me a photo of one (to assess the wood) if I were to order one?

Ky221, how long is the barrel on that 61?

Very nice. I din't know they were making that one. I don't know that I would be able to resist one if I saw it in the flesh.

That Ruger is gorgeous.

Nice ones!! The 61 that I have is amazingly accurate - keeps up with some of my best in that regard and has taken many a squirrel!

Seeing those Ruger 10/22 pictures made me want one. I checked with my local Lipsey’s dealer and learned they were out of stock. Then it occurred to me to check Bud’s Gun Shop. They had one so I ordered it. It arrived at my FFL dealer yesterday and I went in to inspect it and do the background check. It might not be quite as pretty as yours, but I am very pleased with it. Colorado has a new law that requires a three day wait after the background check before you can take possession so I don’t have it in hand yet.

Thanks for posting the photos that motivated me to look for one! I’m happy to add it to my safe!

Both are nice additions to any collection.
