I recently bought one of these guns with a heavy barrel and wood. I wasn’t aware they made these but they seem to be somewhat rare? Any one have any experience shooting these?

Only cataloged for a short time, maybe only one year, before the Model 25 was introduced.

I've seen one, but wasn't sure that the action was strong enough to handle the .22 Hornet, sort of expected to see headspace problems like the Winchester 43s in .22 Hornet can have.

I plan on shooting it in the next week. It shocked me being bolt action with no magazine
