I just picked up my new cz 600 lux 223. I really like it. It has nice wood and some cool features and handles really well. I even like the open sights although they're a bit different than most. The trigger came set at 1.5" from the factory and breaks really consistent. I even like the safety quite a bit even though it's different than most.
I wish it had a longer mag box and a bit faster twist, its1:9, but I really like most everything else. It should be fine with most bullets 69g and under maybe the Hornady 75g bthp that I use a lot even. It should also work with 62g ttsx bullets. I found it at an online dealer new for just a bit over $600. It's a lot of rifle for that money. I'll try to get it to the range tomorrow.

ingwe has one of those and is a fan IIRC. I looked one over and liked it but already had a nice .223 of similar weight and sold it in my quest to go light with my hunting rifles.
That was a good price on a nice rifle.
What fresh Hell is this?

I have one and really like the trigger, controlled round feed, mag controls, safety design, and nitride finish. Very useful rifle!

My friend has one its a nice rifle. I am considering one myself. The 223's are a deal compared to the other Lux calibers right now. Nice buy congrats!
I walk around like I'm ok, but deep down inside, I wanna buy another gun.

I'm thinking about an alpa in 7.62x39 and maybe another in 6 creed.

I've kind of got curiosity of them and the synthetic stock..
then I know the early ones had some issues and they had the recall..
but I like for me how the stock shoulders and feels..

Resurrecting this - I have owned a cz550 forever and know they changed some things over the years. The 600 looks very nice with some 'good' and interesting changes. Looks a little more svelte.
Wondering how you like it now after some use.
A few questions - Did they maintain the set trigger? That might be my favorite thing on the 550. I know some didn't seem to like the 550 triggers but for the life of me I can't understand why. Mine breaks about as perfect as one could ever want.
How do you like that safety? I imagine they no longer include rings?
