Is anyone currently importing LH Zastava's? Ya, I know, quality has ranged from rough to functional.

The guy in TN goes by Greene's Sporting on GunBroker was the guy getting them in. He may post here, I can't remember. Search for LH Zastava on GB, you may find him.

Here is a current GB listing for Greene Sporting in Tennessee: Greene Sporting LH Zastava

IIRC, he also posts on Accurate Reloader as "VOL717". A while back, he posted on AR that the current crop of Left Hand Zastavas will be his last. Apparently too much of a PITA to import them.

"Accurate Reloader". Not Accurate Shooter.

I had bought a left handed M70 chambered in 9.3x62 from him, I wasn't impressed with the rifle, he was decent to deal with, though his prices have gone up.

I got my Husqvarna 9.3x62 from him. I think I probably could have been a bit savvier as a shopper, but I cannot besmirch his honesty. He’s a pretty good salesman.

I tried to work with Greene on a multiple purchase and few years ago and he significantly raised his prices on the remaining stock during the process. I posted a wanted ad here and within 6 months I had 3 Zastava left hand rifles and one NIB left hand Zastava action at much better pricing and very pleasant folks to deal with.

Thanks all. Ya, these are NOT $1500 rifles. I did reach out to Zastava USA, but have not heard back yet.

They were a good buy at $500 and I have three of them along with Gentry safeties and 1909 bottom metal.

I think some of the pricing is related to "no more coming"... He has been gradually raising prices as he sells down his stock. If he can sell them for that price, bully for him. But, agree, they are not worth $1,500 to me...

I already have. They replied in a timely manner that imports to the US were finished and if they could be of further service to let me know.

I personally would drive to the Greenville dealer if these were a good value, but don’t see how $1500 to $2k would be.

I’m dying over here for a left hand CRF in 30.06 or 270 preferably, with 30.06 as the largest chambering option. Been looking for years for the two Classic 70’s I passed up used for $750 each. SMH.

I thought long and hard about the two Greeneville had in either 6.5x55 or 7x57 since I love these European rifles in a European chambering, but just couldn’t bring myself to do it. Likewise on the Classic Model 70’s that have often brought north of $2k in a standard length action.

Winchester has got to be losing money on their Model 70’s or they would make more left hand rifles. I bet they could sell thousands right now. I don’t know about 20k, but I can’t believe they couldn’t move 5k to 10k.

There is a rough looking Zastava 30.06 that has only three days left on GB. Also listed in East TN by someone else.

I’m posting about it here in the hopes I’m not forced to buy it! Stock looks homemade! Lol

By the time you’re done with aftermarket work you have a single grand in one. I think that would be a good value, so I’ll just have to do without.
