They (Alaska Fuel) didn’t haul much fuel out of Fairbanks. Evert hauls the majority of it. People will not be cold in the winter over this accident…

atvalaska Campfire Ranger Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 15,380 907novacancynenana	I lived there for 20 years on that hillside where the plane burn hell them snow machine tracks are some of me and the kids. ..I sold my big old table saw to the rosie Creek farm guy with the plastic greenhouse that has the video footage / 2 years ago I work harder than a ugly stripper....

They also have—-or had at least—-administrative problems, organizational issues, etc. Hopefully they’re better now but not long ago they weren’t reliable at all as far as I am concerned.

Maybe so with the commuter side of Everts. I don't have much experience with their village hops but the fuel delivery side has been good as far as I've been involved with. The Ag tractor has been on and off line over the last year but otherwise good to go on the big planes. Bush AK survives on those old C 46's and DC6's Down for maintenance is better than an in flight engine fire. Sad day for sure.

Thanks, I did find his obit online as I got to wondering. Apparently Cliff passed away in 2017, no wonder I haven't seen him at any auctions for awhile!
