High end on price....however, his Dogs are in demand. Many others can be had for less. The above online magazine is a good starting point.

Good Dogs are coming out of the South....Especially the Carolinas and Georgia. In particular, where they use them for plantation Dogs. If you are willing to go South, then look up any of the hunting plantations and give them a call. They may have pups or know of current litters.

Don't limit yourself to a particular area. Find the right litter and don't wait. My last one came from Georgia. A Dog carrier delivered him to the driveway.

Thanks battue. I am just starting my search and am hoping to get a pup within a year. I use to train springers with Ron Baldwin 30 years ago. I see now he published Springers In Line in 1980.

Also check out Dan Murray w/ Absolute Gun Dogs. My buddy has field bred cockers out of lines that come from Ness. One of his dogs just sired a litter that was born last week. PM if any questions. I live in Bismarck, ND. Stronghold here for English Cockers. I have one too smile

Do or do not, there is no try.

I hunted with some very impressive English cockers in Texas. Outstanding in the field and didn't run off out of the country. I hunted in the Abilene area. I'll try and find the guys I hunted with information.
