That was probably what got Tesla sandbagged at a time when cars were just getting popular.

The Title reminded me of a Canadian moose hunt my Dad did sixty years ago.

He somehow found a guide in BC, and arranged his hunt. A once in a lifetime event, which the family could ill afford. But the root cellar was full of canned garden produce and fruit from the trees on the farm. The freezer was full of deer and elk. So nobody was going to starve.

Dad had bucked bales from the ground to the stack for two summers for farms in a ten mile radius at 5 cents per bale, with just six year old me as his sole helper and tractor driver. The proceeds payed for the new Rem 760 and 3-9 Scopechief IV, as well as the hunt and trip from near Boise to BC. He was driving a 1952 Pontiac 4 door sedan with a flathead straight eight.

When Dad got home from his "Canadian Wilderness" adventure he was still fuming.

His so called "guide" had directed him to cover a specific terrain. But Dad being the adventurous sort, wandered a bit further, to find his path paralleled a logging road he could have driven up. No moose were harmed as a result of his adventure.

His new trail......was a well traveled path.

Yeah that was quite innovative and the Chinese had nothing to do with it.
