I have a Echo CS 520, it's a great saw....their commercial version I was told.

I have an Echo weedeater/brushcutter I like a lot. Not even the commercial model.

I think they make good equipment.

Echo 355T for a climbing saw. Reliable and a decent saw for the money.

I picked up a little 310 last year. We use it as a back up to our other saws. Haven't had any problems with.

I've had one for about 8 years. Moderate use cutting up firewood for the fire pit and general clean up around the cabin. No problems with it at all.

My Echo saws have served me well. The 3 Stihl saws I have owned were pretty good but not a good as the Echo brand saws.

Got an echo pole saw.

Have an Echo 400 and it has been reliable and its light for its size. Have a Husky Rancher that I got 20+ years ago which cuts faster and is a much heavier saw. For cleaning up the yard of branches and such I go with the Echo. My nephew said their power line crews use the Echo…

I have an Echo saw with a 16'' bar, would have to go look at the model.. A buddy told me he had a couple and they always start easily...

I bought one and it has always started within a few pulls.. A huge plus for me.

I have worked with and around a good number of the REAL tree companies here in SE Pa and have yet to see any of them using Echo saws commercially other than pole saws. They are vast majority Stihls with some commercial grade Huskys mixed in. I also do a good bit of tree felling and personally use and equip my crews with Stihls, mostly MS261s and MS462s, the 462 with a 25" Tsumura light bar being my personal go to saw. I do have an Echo 2511T that I have used a good bit that is a great little saw that cuts way above its toy-like appearance. For residential or occasional use I see nothing wrong with Echo, and thanks for the heads up on the sale, I may pick up a pole saw.

CS400, CS590 and an Echo weedeater I can't recall the model number of. Excellent power equipment.

This place has the 310 for $95. Can anyone local beat this price ??

I had three of the Echo 330's until a couple years ago. Great saw. Very easy to maintain. Easy to find parts for. Foolproof.

That said they look a whole lot different than the ones on your link, so mebbe these ones are a next gen of some kind. Dunno.

At 95 bucks they look like a great deal to me.

I moved exclusively to a core group of Stihl saws (170, 250, 261, 044), and then got rid of a bunch of my other saws (Stihl, Echo, Makita, Pull-on, McCullough, Jonsereds, etc.) to keep my sanity. (well, except for one Husqvarna which a neighbor recently gifted me which I use for grubbing)

So my bottom line on this: is if you need an inexpensive small saw, grab it!

I have one of those Echos with different attachments. I use the pole saw, brush cutter and weed eater attachments the most and have worked the crap out of it for the last 5 years. I use it for clearing overhanging limbs and brush off pasture fences. It also comes in handy when sawing stuff with poison ivy all over it.
I also have an Echo 501 saw that I use for big stuff and it’s been great too but I don’t use it as much as the other Echo.

I almost forgot… I also have their little 2 stroke garden tiller that’s perfect for a small garden for me and the wife.

Sure Mark - but those are hourly employees - they can spend half a day getting that Sthl started - productive people don't. ( I have had two - now I have 2 Echos and a wore out "Vintage Jonsered, which I only use for grubbing - but they are all less than 3 pull starters.)

Come to think of it, I should see if my spare Echo still starts well- Haven't had to use it in 3 or 4 years.
