Down in the 50's at night but the house is tight so it takes a while to get too cool.
A clean, fresh room & a snuggly nights sleep.

I used an electric floor fan this week for the first time this year (no A/C by choice), hot is on its way, muggy and 70’s by morning. High approaching 90 now.

The cicada hatch must have really taken off overnight here. They’re pretty loud with the windows closed so windows open would be a nonstarter.

Like some of the others who posted, it ain't open windows at night season yet. Was getting close to freezing by bedtime last night and down to 21F this morning. Started a fire to take the chill off the house.

We sleep with the window at least cracked all year long, even at 30 below. The colder it is, tho, the less open it is. Thermostat gets turned down to 65 at night out in the living room, and the bedroom door stays shut. I bet sometimes it's down to 45 or 50 by morning in the bedroom.
The wiener dog is in bed with us, and Honey HalfLab has a blanket for herself on her bed on the floor.
How a foot long, 12 pound dog can occupy 2/3 or more of a queen sized bed boggles the mind.

Thanks for the suggestion. After looking I was reminded of the concept, but they're rarely seen in my area so I did some research. It seems that Ky's annual weather isn't really desirable to benefit much from one.
