I get mine organized. Then the G daughters come in and borrow. LOL

I am sure glad we have these interchangeable plastic trays available. Remember when all we had were the hip roof tackle boxes with built in trays?

This must be the pike box. Have some classics in the lineup.

The grayling box is going to kill me I try to clean them all up without adding a lot of chemical sense but one time I thought it was a good idea to add some salmon oil or snail oil or any fish oil well all it did was pull the paint off make the spinners not spinning anymore worst thing I ever did I was trying to add a little sense sent but I secured my whole box screwed my box

I have 5 Plano 4 (removable) tray Guide series tackle boxes with just bottomfish tackle and 4 of the exact same Plano tackle boxes with just salmon tackle. They were so full and I bought a bunch of new tackle for bottomfish and salmon that I went and bought 2 more Guide series tackle boxes, 1 more for bottomfish and 1 more for salmon. They are both now full. I have a couple of big double sided Plano tackle boxes that I use for salmon lead and the other for bottomfish lead….those bastards get heavy, especially the bottomfish lead box.

I have a serious addiction to good tackle as well as good rods (G.Loomis & Lamiglass) and good reels (Shimano, Penn and Avet mostly). I brought something like 35 Loomis rods up north and recently found 15 more that I had forgotten about. I was happy to find 2 11’ noodle rods with 2 more Stradics which are fun for flossing Reds. 😀

Boaters World had a clearance sale on Kingfisher and Coyote spoons as well as Coho Killers that they were blowing out for $1.00 each so I bought another 75 or 80 of them which was all they had. I got the tail end of the 11” Hot Spot flashers for $5.00 each and several dozen 2oz Pt. Wilson darts for $1.00 each…K16 Kwik fish for $3.00ea and assorted hootchies too. My “Hootchie” box is full to the brim with hundreds and hundreds of hootchies as well as salmon flies…. Keep my tackle boxes as organized and tidy as anything I own which shows you where I place my priorities. 😂

At todays prices that’s understandable.

My “base” box is a Warlock upper and lower mechanics tool box set. Full all drawers. 8 Plano 4200 boxes kept loaded depending on where I go and what species my clients are interested in catching. I have a lot of good musky lures from years back thank god, todays prices on that stuff are ridiculous. It a lot but a lot of clients thru the season help dig into it when we’re on the water.

Rods maybe 30 in the racks, reels the same. I get up to around 35 sticks and crankers and I start giving them away to local youth.
Pretty much an upper line St. Croix and Shimano guy these days. I have a few Fenwick rods left that were made to my wants years ago that I still like. A couple Sage as well.

I don’t carry a ton of electronics, I’m not that enthralled with those prices and products. Being a guide a lot of companies carry me but nothing is free, cost still adds up.
It doesn’t matter one lure or a thousand, another week and a half and another season on the water starts. That’s what matters.

My tackle box prob weighs 25-30 lbs all the stuff in it. Doesn't include fly gear.

Like Michelle Obama - none of it's been wet in 8 years.

I see lots of Mepps Cyclops spoons in your tackle box. They’re deadly on pike. I’m 3.5 weeks from an annual trip to Canada where ill use that lure almost exclusively for a week.

Those are good Dale. Toss in a good doctor spoon or two as well. Change out the lure trebles for a single 4-5 size hook and slip a short piece of rubber tail on that hook and you will be in tall cotton.
