I have a Glock 44 for the last two years. The jury was out on it for a while as I had some malfunctions when it was new. I learned there is a particular way you have to load the mag and that goes away. But the gun is not a target gun, it's a training gun since my duty weapon is a Glock 19. One issue is that the Glock 44 only comes with 10 round magazines which puts a damper on the training. So I bought Promag 18 round mags. Having read of all the issues and seeing some solutions I cut three coils off the spring. I load them in a particular way, same as the G44 mags and I've only experienced a few malfunctions. So far the value as a trtaining gun is there, it was a good call.

I have one as well and have not tried the extended mags. I do have problems if I load the mags utilizing the finger buttons and pulling down on the follower/spring. If I load each bullet by pushing down on the previous round in the magazine and don’t compress the magazine spring manually. All the problems disappear

I had a G44 for a while. It wasn't accurate enough to suit me. I never had any issues with the mags nor any malfunctions. I sold it and bought a Sig 322. I like it much better. While not an exact copy of the Glock 19 I find it close enough. It is almost as accurate as my 5.5" Ruger target 22 and the mags hold 20 rounds.

There is definitely a trick to loading the double stack mags with a rimfire. You can't push the follower to the bottom and drop rounds in. I set the mag on a table, shooting bench, etc. and press the follower down just enough to load a single round, then release the follower and allow it to press the cartridge up against the feed lips. Repeat this for each round. If I do that it loads and feeds perfectly.

My 44 has been 100% reliable unsuppressed. It has had a few hiccups with the suppressor on.

Mine loves Stingers and Velocitors.

Load the mag and make sure the top round is pointing correctly not way up nose high. Never have any issues like that.

Took just a bit some years ago to learn which ammo was reliable.

Have never had an issue with the suppressor on it.

Aftermarket barrel to get threads. No clue the brand from a few years ago.

Accuracy good enough at 20 or so steps to head shoot grouse.

Wife carries one every day after work at the house. Swaps from her centerfire to the rimfire. I carry one while guiding hunts and small game is legal.

Might like just better triggers but the triggers as is are more than reliable enough.

For the past 2/3 years IIRC, we have been happy having a pair of them.

I’m pretty happy with mine. Killed a few rabbits with it and finished off a spine shot caribou. Certainly capable of minute of a bunny head at 15-20 yards. And at 16 ounces loaded it packs pretty easy.
