FWIW, I run Federal LE 12 ga 2 3/4" 00 Buck with flight control wad in my 870 Police shotgun. The pattern is insane at 50 feet.
Get the Federal loads with the flight control wad and you will be happy.

Get the Federal loads with the flight control wad and you will be happy. Great ammo. It patterns the best out of everything I've tried in cylinder and improved cylinder barrels

I patterned several 3'' #4 buckshot loads- Federal didn't do very well. Remington- was the worst. Winchester patterned far and away the best, lasered 50yards pattern nicely round perfect coverage . I couldn't use a Marker and draw a better pattern. The second shot loosened up a bit- the third shot was even more. I had no idea that a clean barrel made so much difference- ''in my gun it did''. I take a BoreSnake along. Rem. 870 pistol grip turkey gun- 21'' barrel- h.s. strut undertaker x-full. Longest shot 78-79 yards - coyote broadside.

My friend and I split cases of the 2 3/4" #4 about 10 years ago. Super deal. Bought a bunch of 00 the same way.
