Apparently her book (initial version) claims she met Kim jong un and surprised him with her impressiveness, in spite of that never happening. Then, after scrutiny of her descriptions of meetings with international leaders, her spokesperson Ian Fury said in a statement that it was an error to include Kim in a list of world leaders who Noem has met — and the publisher would correct any future editions of the book. Liberal news sources, but they quote a spokesperson’s statement. The dog incident was to show her ability making hard decisions. I think she tried too hard to get VP nod.

Doesn’t matter where Trump is from, doesn’t matter how many newborn pups you’ve conked in the skull, ya just don’t discuss chit like that to the squeamish general public.
Political suicide and the more space he puts between himself and her, potentially the better. We don’t need any fu ckups, not even a blip.
Even if he only pretends to find it offense, he has be sure he doesn’t alienate a possible 1-2% of folks that get blowd up that. Dang, that sounds politically astute.

In many states any dog collared or otherwise can be shot by anyone if it’s found running deer. Some states hunt deer with dogs. Go figure. Fauci had dogs voice boxes cut so you couldnt hear them screaming as their faces were consumed in the name of science and that story disappeared as quick as it arrived and he walked away just fine. Her political career may survive in SD, but regardless of your opinions on how to handle certain dogs, putting that in her book was very dumb. It’s hard to imagine multiple people seeing that before the book was published and not raising mention of it.
Let’s just be happy she’s not the presidential nominee or VP candidate as her book is being released.

What's real is the film writers understanding of how to tap into people emotions. Studies show people have a more visceral reaction to someone kicking a puppy then killing a child. Christy didn't kick a puppy, she shot it, and for the squishy 20% that decide US elections, that's unforgivable. Overall, she's was my favorite for Trump's running mate, but now she's just too toxic, and Trump can't be seen anywhere near her.
