My lowa GTX’s soles gave up the ghost this weekend. Lowa’s service has been suspended since January and it says to check back in a few months. Service is usually 4 month turnaround from when you ship them in because they send them back to Germany. I hoping not to loose these for 8 months.
Has anyone here used Dave Page or Hoffman boots to do a resole? If so were you satisfied or should I just hold out for Lowa.

Dave Page in Seattle did great work on my Lowas. I’d use them again.

Dave Page did my Meindls a few years back. Was very pleased with the work and will use him again if needed.

Well dang, I was about to send off my son’s boots to Lowa.
Hopefully Page may be an equally good option.

I just had Page do a Lowa resole. It took about a month from ship out to back. Great service.

This is good to hear thanks everyone.
To those that got them back how was the comfort over ground. I see he does a solid vibram sole no mid sole (which I like) as opposed to the PU used on the boots from the factory. I had a pair of Meindls a while back and the PU disintegrated on them also. The one thing I really do like about the PU though is the shock absorption.

I've had four pairs of Meindls have the PU soles disintegrate. One pair left me wearing street shoes in the Tanzanian bush. Two pairs were replaced by their former agent, who gave up on them, in Singapore. My feet loved them, just don't leave them in hot humid conditions.
Think I have a pair somewhere I intend to get resoled.
Interested to read from those who have had soles replaced with Vibram.
