People that are not willing to do the things that are needed when you own animals shouldn't own animals. This is bigger then animals, it's about holding people accountable. A politician willing to kill her own dog to hold it accountable for it's actions is also more likely to hold people accountable for their actions. Animals are just like humans, some are just wired bad. Lots of reasons, but the answer is simple. Especially when it attacks farm animals and is aggressive to humans.
Sometimes it can be attributed to training, but for some (humans, or animals) all the training in the world does not matter.
Ranchers out here get a bad cow. Off to market or the butcher shop. I would guess the same thing happens with all sorts of "domestic" animals or livestock.
As far as Noem, I do not think she was ever seriously in the running for VP. Nothing wrong with her telling it like it is. Let the libtards heads explode. Does not change the real world.
Sat in on our SD GFP commission meeting last week. Huge discussion about beavers. Trying to extend the season year round so landowners can deal with problems on their own. Environmentalist show up in force to protect the beaver.
Almost everywhere in this state beavers are equated to damage. Up in the Black Hills, they can do a lot of good in the riparian areas. I jsut want to know who is sticking up for the trees, arborist's unite! Sarcasm off

She's right... I can't believe - after about a dozen SS members have been bitten by this dog - that it still draws a breath... Apparently they are not allowed to shoot anything. Me, I'd let the beast grab my left hand, then shoot him with my right. Twice. Then adopt his dog and train it.

She's a dipstick. Bragging about killing a dog and a goat (which probably didn't even happen anyway), and lying about meeting Kim Jong Un and how intimidated he was by her just to try to show the world how tough she is. And as I understand it, she's not really all that conservative anyway, trying to shut down the state for covid (yeah, she kinda did), vetoing a bill to keep "trans" boys/men out of public school female sports, etc... And yet, so many still simp HARD for her. It's pretty pathetic, really.
On top of that, it looks like she has had more plastic surgery than Marie Osmond..... pretty bad.
