Went out of Beaufort inlet Saturday and headed to the gulf stream. Trolled but the bite was slow. Caught one shark and one false albecore.
Changed up and went after triggerfish and black sea bass.wound up with 8 triggers and some nice bass. .
Sunday stayed inshore and outlasted a small squall and then boated 13 Atlantic Bonito. Thats some mighty fine vittles right there!
All in all a good wknd fishing.
I have a lot of Bonito loins to vacuum pack tommorow.
