How in hell is any of this a crime? Why can't a person pay someone to not reveal their sex life if the payor thinks it might hurt him politically? How is that worthy of criminal prosecution?

One great thing came out of this earlier when Stormy’s lawyer, Avenatti, got put in jail. Everybody trying to screw Stormy one way or another.

The only way I see that it can be criminal is if he diverted campaign donations rather than personal funds. If they can prove that, then he's likely [bleep]. I think, much as I assume you do, that this is a baseless witch hunt driven strictly by political motivations which makes it just as criminal, for the same purposes as well, as what he's accused of.

More importantly the matter is actually federal not state and here we have a state attorney attempting to prosecute a federal matter. Remind one wanted to previously touch this one because it is not a crime to enter into a hush money contract. I hope they do convict him because it will immediately be overturned on appeal. And every time a sham conviction is overturned DJT gets stronger. Fugg them all.

They claim that he hid the expense as a standard lawyer's fee payment, which they claim is illegal, since it should have been on the record (they say) as a campaign expense. But if he had indicated it on the record as a campaign expenditure, specifying that it was to pay Stormy not to discuss his alleged affair with her, there'd have been no point in paying her, since at that point the alleged affair, and payoff, would be matters of public record.

There's no crime, there's no victim, thers no accounting error. This is something the lunatic commies invented and coordinated with the WH to try and get orange man during election season. It's backfiring horribly.

Actually, the victim here is Trump, because Ms. Daniel's broke her NDA despite being legally paid her hush money. Trump should counter sue her for the pocket change that whore demanded.
