Up for sale is a nicely done sporter job of a model 1895 Mauser. High polished bluing is very nice, deep and rich. What I will call a Remington bdl style stock is in clean presentable condition with a few handling marks here and there, cut checkering is very nice and sharp. Action is very nice and smooth and has a good clean bore with clean pronounced rifling. The barrel has obliviously been cut and recrowned due to its length but who ever did the work makes it look as if it was done from the factory that way. Has a Williams rear sight and what appears to be a Remington 700 style front sight. I personally have not fired the rifle as I took it in on trade and it’s “not really my thing” it weighs 7lbs 4oz as pictured on my postal scale. Overall this would make some one a really nice rifle.
