Celery
Duke’s mayo
Spoon or so of vinegar
Mustard
Little bit of celery seed
Serve with cold baked ham and fried chicken, sliced ripe tomatoes, green olives and bread & butter pickles on the side.
An alternate is made with redskin potatoes with the skins left on, sour cream, chopped green onions, and the boiled eggs of course; gotta have the eggs.
What fresh Hell is this?

Did not read the whole thread yet but wasn't there a Vice President candidate that spelled Potato like the original poster? I seem to recall Dan Quale or such. Are you Him? He caught a lot of flack for spelling it that way. miles

Never liked it because I hate mayo/miracle whip and eggs
Then my aunt brought some to a get together that used sour cream instead of mayo.
That was damn good so that's what I make now

I had a friend that said if potato salad does not give you bad breath smelling it, it does not have enough onions. I like onions in mine but not that much.

I've made Irish Potatoe salad, Potatoes, green onions, eggs, half sour cream, half mayo

My wife makes the best potato salad in the world. Her Mom is a close second.
They both make it with LOTS of mustard when they know I'm going to be there. lol
