Popped the Scope w Burris Signature .22 rings off my CZ. Thought Id put that on an old 64 Anschutz.

HOWEVER...........the Anschutz has an arched receiver. The Burris rings are for flat top receivers.
So I gotta find a new set of rings.

Doubt I do before the weekend. Bummer.

Yeah, those radiused "arched" rings are harder to find. Order some off of ebay. If you were really good, you could modify some standard rings. The Leupold steel rings are nice, and they are radiused on the underside. They are a little spendy though. There are also rings on ebay in the $15-$20 range that would work.

Another option is the DIP picatinny rail mount. Those look pretty good, and allow you to put your rings where you want them.

Pop for the Leupolds; they’re pretty nice. I’ve used a couple of rails that fit in grooved receivers, but prefer straight rings unless I need to swap scopes around or want some tilt. They just add complication to a setup, and one interfered with ejection. I think they cost more than the Leupold rings as well.

Got my D3 Precision rings pretty quick.
Nice anodizing, worked great.
Took scope out after mounting and no ring marks. Cool.
However, I just don't like the look of the rings (aesthetic).

So back to the drawing board.
