As a very littoral thinker and problem solver, this is painful.

An illegal encampment of illegals?
This aint a tough problem to solve!

That the city council meeting isn't a re-enactment of the storming of the
Bastille? Well, that's a reflection on the legal population of Denver.

It doesn’t matter where they come from. Illegal is illegal. Start treating them like the hippy communes of the 60’s and 70’s. No government taxpayer money, no resources and they will start moving back south.
Bye.

How is it bigotry to use a pejorative to describe someone who flouts our laws by entering our country illegally, camps in our public spaces and makes them unusable by the people who pay for them, and then demands we spend our time and money to meet their needs?

Would you prefer we call them fùcking freeloaders?

send them to Ukraine let them fight for Zelensky
... and if they survive and win tell him they can have the country of Ukraine.

the Ukrainian civil war will start...

Those POS's in Denver are Communists, just like the Regime that flew'em in.

You can take your list of demands back to Honduras, or Venezuela, or China, or Syria, or wherever the hell you came from.

Liberal apologists are behind all of that.

How about some fresh culturally appropriate food for me?
Minor point; the governor still lives in Boulder and sets the example for energy conservation by traveling in a suburban with second as escort. He could ride the bus it leaves right near the capitol.

20 years ago, Denver was a decent city. Downtown was safe and appealing. It's a crowded $hithole now, no parking, reeks like pot, homeless, and huge multifamily apartment buildings everywhere. They just keep cramming liberal voters in anywhere they can. Traffic is insane, it's rush hour downtown all the time.

The trend is so obvious, but there's not a liberal in the country that will admit it. Once a state or city turns blue, it turns to crap and becomes undesirable to work or live in. And Denver is further proof.

Biden told us he was going to start importing various peoples by aircraft into FL, like Haitians. Our Governor told him we had buses with DC and Delaware names on them.

When my family moved to Colorado in 1965, downtown Denver was alot like it is now, only much smaller. Larimer street was not an upscale shopping and dining district, it was where the pawnshops and hobos were. The day labor halls, Salvation Army, and lots of real rough bars. That is where a contractor could go and pick up a few hard workin' fellas to unload a boxcar or carry drywall upstairs. There were even Basque shepards in between mountain sheep tending jobs. And yes many were non-english speaking "recent arrivals" from the south. Denver has a huge hispanic culture going back to before the gringos arrived and built their camp right where the Indians warned that flooding would wipe them out.

I have been told by a young lady wearing a La Raza belt buckle that Colorado and much of the southwest belonged to Spain and Mexico and that they would like it back. I had not thought about it that way before. She was extra cute and I found myself changing viewpoints on the whole thing.

You're gonna be right beside the 16th Street Mall. There’re a lotta places all up and down that strip. It’s pedestrian only for the entire length, except for the free buses that you can hop on anywhere along that strip if you don’t wanna walk.
