I'm flying into Missoula in July, headed to Glacier National Park and Banff, and was looking to rent a yeti or similar cooler, but I can't seem to find anything on my Google search. I found some rental places in or near GNP, but would rather pick it up on my first day so I can fill with groceries while in Missoula.
Thoughts or suggestions?

Just go to WalMart and buy a large $20 cooler, ice your stuff down, and make someone a gift of it when you leave.

Probably cost you more to rent than to simply buy and leave behind.
Heck - last customer conference we did that with 42 inch TVs - cheaper than renting and even cheaper than sending them back to the home office.

Call some of the outfitter places that run river trips.

Due to the increased price of ammo, don't expect a warning shot...

Cheap styrofoam cooler should get you by. That’s what we do if we fly in somewhere, in a dumpster on the way back to the airport.

Never heard of renting a cooler in western Montana. Doesn’t mean you can’t but I’ve never heard of such a thing

Agree with others, just go buy an igloo.
If I was in the area, you could come by and pick out one to rent, but I'd charge you rent plus 35-40% deposit, in case it never made it back.

I left a big cooler in Las Vegas. Wrote Free to Good home. Was still chocked with sodas and a pack of nathans dogs. Big red walmart job
It went to to Yosemite, up towards Cody Wyo, Glacier, 2 week loop.

If one rents from the river runners, give it a thorough look before leaving. Most serve as seats within raft frames and lids subsequently don't seal very well.

There’s an outfit in Bozeman/Belgrade that rents them and all kinds of other outdoor equipment. It is in the opposite direction of your travels, but I offer it as proof that such a place exists! I can’t believe there’s not a place in/near Missoula. https://explore-rentals1.pointofrentalcloud.com/portal/

That's a pretty fair looking outfit. Some young folks would be happy as a clam to have that gifted to them on your way out of town.

Right now our Walmart has a 48qt Igloo for $25 and a 60qt Coleman for $38. If the store runs out, you can order one for pickup in Missoula and it'll be there waiting.

Just buy a cheap one as advised and drop it off full of spoiled food at a lgbtq palestine protest or criminal invader camp when you go.
