We have grandkids tonight. The youngest is 4 today. We will take him out to dinner tonight. I’m working on putting new metal on my workshop tomorrow and Sunday. Wifey has to work Sunday, so no dancehall Saturday night.

Going to watch my granddaughter graduate from college. She will be starting grad school in a few weeks.
Next weekend is my grandson graduation for college and he has accepted a job using his civil engineering degree with a nationally known construction company.

Today I dont work , so I will hit my favorite walleye lake ( Lake Winnebago) and test out my new 9.9 merc. 4 stroke I picked up yesterday. I might even catch a few fish . Saturday I am again going fishing, but might go for northerns. Sunday I go to church , help out in Sunday School, and go to my mom's house . She has a whole spread of food . Since she is a very proud Italian , it will likely be Italian of some sort. However there will be cheese , crackers, and always cake and pie. Then I will go home and complain I cant loose weight.
But the fruits of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,faithfulness, Gentleness and self control. Against such things there is no law. Galations 5: 22&23

I will get out to survey the storm damage, on the farm, no doubt we have some, after the 84-5 mph winds and the strobe light style lightning show, just before daylight this AM. I just wait until the rain stops for good, before getting out.

Pick up a bunch of madrone I cut this winter and left lay. Got the truck stuck and had to winch myself out of the canyon with the trailer empty.

It’s going to be 75 for high today, 5 mpg north wind, I want to get on Harley so bad I’m dreaming about it, hair over 2 months out from open heart surgery, feel strong again but still a little nervous, anyway this wonderful weather won’t last long, I will be 69 in a month and it’s good to be alive and well.

I took the day off and called my daughter out of school. We’re up north for the day riding quads. I recently picked up an old Yamaha for her and she was tired of riding it up and down the block. Saturday morning I will be here setting up booths and moving equipment up for Fire Service Day and 100th anniversary. https://www.lacountyfiremuseum.com/Saturday afternoon I will be watching Jett Lawrence clinch the AMA Supercross title as a rookie. Sunday is Mothers Day. I'll join my sibs for a remembrance of my mom and then smoke some meats.
