IT IS. It's part of a collection from a very close friend who passed away. I have a beautiful FN Mauser in .270 otherwise I'd be keeping this one. I didn't know he had this. I've never even heard of this model before. The wood looks like it's a Super Grade.

They were the first foot forward for BACO after a year plus hiatus; and they did a good job with them. The wood was “grade ii” iirc and most reflect that.

They did put out some really nice wood on “mid grade” rifles. They had more than one special editions if I recall. I had one in a 7x57 which was very nice. I’d imagine the new owner will be very happy.
