Tillis Introduces Bill To Revoke Federal Aid for Pro-Hamas Students Who Break the Law.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) led the introduction of the No Higher education Assistance for Mobs of Antisemitic and terrorist Sympathizing Students (No HAMAS) Act in direct response to the unlawful antisemitic, pro-Hamas encampments and riots that have taken place across the nation, including the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Joining Senator Tillis are Senators Mike Crapo (R-ID), Jim Risch (R-ID), Ted Cruz (R-TX), Josh Hawley (R-MO), Steve Daines (R-MT), Joni Ernst (R-IA), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), and Pete Ricketts (R-NE).

The No HAMAS Act would revoke federal student financial assistance for students who are convicted of trespassing, rioting, or damaging property while protesting at a higher education institution. Students convicted would lose their eligibility for any federal grant, loan, or work assistance.

Stupid piece of legislation. Since Congress already controls the purse strings it could simply stop funding schools with this sort of nonsense going on using the broad rationale of state and federally funded universities policing their campuses for lawful and orderly conduct. Since Congress is not likely going to do this owing to lack of balls generally and the fact that their lobbyist masters say so, the proposed legislation is a thinly veiled stunt seeking to help that guy’s future reelection platform down the line. Don’t anyone fall for this nonsense.

I think these guys missed the memo that folks are getting tired of tax money going to kill women and children. And that many are waking up to the fact that modern day Israel isn't the Israel of the Bible times.

Don’t get too excited. Tillis is a rat. Talks a good stance but refuses to consider border control a prime focus. Works with demoroids to fund the Ukraine slush fund. All the brags are just fluff. He needs to be gone.
