Has anyone here purchased one or messed with one? How do they compare to the original?

I recently bought one but haven't had a chance to shoot it. Has beautiful wood and handles good. Although I like it, I don't like the plastic parts and had I know it before, it would have influenced my decision to get one. Sorry but can't compare it to an original but I'm sure it has some short comings.

I bought one last spring. I mounted a Leupold 4X. I used it this Fall for grouse. It worked quite well to harvest a variety of sharptails and ruffed grouse to 60 yards. At 25 yards, it shoots a consistent 1/2" group with ammunition it likes. I like it. I never had one of the older models.

My 1970 version will shoot one hole @ 25 yds and under 1" @ 50yds with rem sub sonics,great gun except the beautiful salt cured stock that rusts the action,never shot a new one but handled one at a gun show,not even close to a orignal belgium browning.IMHOP
