Now... what is the question again? What eliminates skunk spray from what? I don't understand the question... confused

There are several recipes out there, none make it go away entirely. I have one on file at home that uses peroxide and a couple of other ingredients, used it on my springer a couple of years ago. It tamed down the smell to a livable level, but far from eliminated it.

There was a TV commercial for a pet urine spray a while back, and one of the sales pitch lines was that it also eliminates skunk spray odor. I have NO experience with it, but I remember perking up when I heard that. Dunno. Heck, I can't even recall the exact name of the product now...

Tomato juice does indeed work, when my blue tick hound would get in to a skunk I used the juice and also washed him with dish soap and a scrub brush and then threw him in the lake for a good rinse and then another 2 quart can of tomato juice. Got rid of the smell really well, the only thing is for years after he would still smell a little skunky every time it rained.
