Help Guys!
My wife just called me to ask how to get the slide back off her glock 17 now that she re-assembled it without putting the small rod and spring in place under the barrel that holds it in place on the slide. I'm 300 miles away on an overnight trip and she needs it for her class in the morning. This is so aggravating! Something always happens when I'm gone. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I have a feeling this is gonna be like trying to tell your elderly dad how to program a VCR over the phone....

If this is still a problem, PM TLee--he is a Glock armorer.
