A neighbor gave me a Devel Model 39-2; this is a S&W, circa 1970s, that has been chopped both in length and grip for a compact size. It is amazingly accurate, however, the safety doesn't work at all and there are FTF, FTE that are all too frequent.
Can anyone recommend a gunsmith with Devel experience? I know it is an oddity today, however, there are some essential differences between this model and a standard Model 39 that suggests some specialized repair talent. Thanks for any assistance.
