Can anyone direct me to directions on or a good smith in the lower half of Michigan for adjusting a 1885 trigger beyond the screw in the rear of the trigger? I`ve Winchester 1885 in 223 Rem that shoots well IMO, .6"-.75"/5 rds if I do my part, but the trigger is a fight everytime I pull it. The thing must be ~3.5/5 lbs and has noticable creep. I`ve ran a search here and also wonder why there is so little discussion on these rifles? Nobody seems to have one except for the old big bore originals.

Lee Shaver - egunsmith.com - he is in Missouri. H has just the fix (one of two possible solutions) for that trigger.

Lee Shaver did a trigger for me on a B-78 and it is awesome. He does great work and is a heck of a nice guy. His shop is in Lamar, MO which is the town I work in so I stop in to talk guns every now and then.
