Hey guys I am going to start to reload for my wifes sig p232 380 and am looking for the best powder for a 90 gr bullet or maybe a 100 grainer. I am looking to just use one powder if at all possible. What would you use if you wanted one powder for the 380 with a JHP or either 90 or 100 grainer.

Lyman #47 lists 700X, Bullseye, Red Dot, Unique, and WW 231 for 90,95,100, and 115 grain jacketed bullets. Velocities and pressures all appear about even and they are all close to the same charge weights.. You might find loads listed at www.alliantpowder.comHope this helps... Mike

I use factory 90-grain Hydra-Shoks for carry purposes. For practice, I handload Winchester 95-grain FMJ's and AA7.
A reasonable charge of AA7 duplicates the POI of the Hydra-Shock load in my pistol, a Browning BDA-380. AA7 burns cleaner than Unique.
