I worked on both the Bradley and the Abrams programs, and will take an M1A1 over the Bradley. The last seven years I worked, I was doing the factory build for the Abrams in Egypt. So, I'm partial to the Abrams Tank.

Have to admit the rides I got in the Abrams were outstanding, kind of like riding in a cadillac with a big gun on it. grin

While I wait for the Bradley to load.....

BTW: I didn't know that the Bradley was classified as a tank. Is the Bradley a lite tank?

I liked the M113 armoured command vehicle. Not because it it was a great combat vehicle but because I live in cold/snow country and it had a nice heater. All buttoned up with the heater going nice and toasty warm. grin

I like the Huey because it covered a lot of ground in a short time and I like to fly.

But my all time favorite was the Jeep especially the Willis Jeep. The things one could with the Jeep was amazing. Tow a 1/4 ton fully load trailer 50/55 miles an hour on paved roads a little less over terrain. Mount a Fifty on the back, a lite Thirty (M60 in my time) for the shotgun. Carry all the supplies one needed for about a 30 day patrol and all this with a little 4-cylinder engine that sounded like a thrashing machine and a rig rated for a 1/4 of a ton load capacity. Oh ya, least I forget with a submersible kit drive it under water.

My wife has a bad habit of referring to my Bradley as a Baby Tank. I really hate it when she does that. Les

LPC's all the way. But now everyone is mounted one way or the other. God loves the Infantry.

Not just the FO's, we had infantry security and Anti-air to guard our precious little selves.
BTW calling an FDC (Freaking Donuts and Coffee) type a gunbunny is a grevious insult sir.
Lifting 95 lb. arty rounds is for the, umm, less intelligent types. grin
