With a buffalo you can do a head mount. Same with most other trophies you get in Africa. A head mount for an elephant may be a bit big(and costly) so you can always cross the tusks behind your desk or whatever. The ones you don't have mounts made out of you can always have rugs made out of the hides. BUT what do you do with a Hippo? Just wondering because my 8 year old grandson asked and I had no answer. A full body mount of your hippo would make a great stuffed animal/toy for your grandson.

I'm thinking lawn ornament or mail box with the upper jaw hinged so that it can be opened and closed as needed by the postman.

Lawdog,
My preference is to mount the ivory on a nice board.
