I have just listed my marlin for sale. I don't have it with me and have not really used it enough to remember a lot of fine detail. It is blued has a cross bolt safety and pistol grip. I bought it thinking I was going to carry it on my horse and never have. I have a model 700 243 that seems to go everywhere I do. Nothing at all wrong with the gun I just need the money more than the gun. Hate to have something thats not being used. I paid 300 for it and looking to get my money back if I can.
