hunt with some type of scope on your shotguns?
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

Aimpoint red dot on my SP10. truglo fiber optics on my 1187. Which one I take depends on how much ravine climbing/sliding I have to do!!!!

Trying out a TruGlo red dot on my 11-87SP this year. I tried a scope last year and hated it. If I don't like the red dot I'm going back to open sights.

Yeah man, I know you cannot be thinking mounting a scope on a shotgun.

Couldn't disagree more. Scope can help assess the quality of a bird if your so-inclined; and I've never missed with mine. Can't tell you how many people I hear of that shoot over birds. Use every legal tool available in my book. Been on great calls and bad calls - shot plenty of good birds. Like my scope.

My eyes are such that a scope is a huge asset.
I have a 1.5-4.5x Bushnell Banner on my turkey gun as well as a good number of my deer rifles. I generally keep the scope cranked all the way out-- hardly any magnification, but a great deal more clarity.

No scope, only fiber optic rifle type sights on a 21" 11-87 barrel. Use bino's to check bird quality. Most of the bird quality down here comes in three sizes, big, bigger & biggest.

I use the sights on my 870 DRS Remchoke barrel with a Superfull choke.
Out to 20yds, if you aren't aiming at the head, you are hitting mostly air.
You need sights with todays chokes and ammo.
