I heard there was an honorable mention:
"How can I get over you, if you won't get out from under him."
"I didn't get the sophisticated gene in this family. I started the sophisticated gene in this family." Willie Robertson

Best all time Country song? I go for Roy Clark's wonderful ode to a broken relationship: "Thank God and Greyhound" I've made a small fortune and you squandered it all You shamed me till I feel about one inch tall But I thought I loved you and I hoped you would change So I gritted my teeth and didn't complain.
Now you come to me with a simple goodbye You tell me you're leaving but you won't tell me why Now we're here at the station and you're getting on And all I can think of is......(long pause) thank God and Greyhound you're gone
Thank God and Greyhound you're gone I didn't know how much longer I could go on Watching you take the respect out of me Watching you make a total wreck out of me That big diesel motor is a-playing my song Thank God and Greyhound you're gone.
Thank God and Greyhound you're gone That load on my mind got lighter when you got on That shiny old bus is a beautiful sight With the black smoke a-rolling up around the taillight It may sound kind-a cruel but I've been silent too long Thank God and Greyhound you're gone.
Thank God and Greyhound you're gone...
Sam......

Two that always stick in my mind: 1.Best opening line- Merle Haggard: "She was always there when I needed you" 2. Best title: David Allan Coe: "Now I lay me down to cheat" I would also give an honorable mention to Jerry Reed for "She got the gold mine, I got the shaft" None of these are from 2007, but I listened to all of them in 2007

8. If The Phone Don't Ring, You'll Know It's Me. That's actually a line in a Randy Travis song - can't remember the song title though.

I don't normally listen to country but this one caught my ear.
