I found this web site that shows a Tikka T3 Hunter stainless barrel, but I can't seem to find it for sale anywhere. I would like one of these in 7mm Rem Mag, I would sell my brand new Ruger No. 1 7MM and purchase this tikka. check out this site, in the left of the page click on "Hunter Stainless" http://www.tikka.fi/thanks -js

The Sako/Tikka website may list that Hunter in SS...but may not be available in the States...I recently checked on a Hunter SS 6.5 Swede with a large USA distributor...not available....

I saw a laminated stainless T3 in 6.5X55 just yesterday in the Canadian Tire store in Kenora, Ontario. They wanted way too much for it, but it sure was a sweet one. They are not all that common around here either. The regular blue synthetic are in pretty good supply, and the price is a lot lower. Move to Canada . . . . . there are a number of things here that are more readily available -- like a wind chill of -60. That you could have for free.

Heres one I finagled the guy behind the gun counter to take the plastic stock off a stainless and put a wood stock off a hunter on it. He was quite pleased, said he had a hard time selling the wood, said everyone wanted the plastic, cost me less than the plastic stainless. I just got off the phone with Beretta, the Tikka T3 Hunter in Stainless is not coming to the USA. That was their final answer. only available in Europe.
I hope the rep I spoke with is wrong.
