I'm wondering if anyone on this forum has any experience with
+p loadings for a 45-70 or 45-90 in a modern reproduction rolling block. Will the action take smokless loads?

Ken Waters has three levels of loads for the 45-70, based on action strength, in the "Pet Loads" publication by Wolfe . It is available at the Anchorage Sportsman's Warehouse so I'd guess it could be had at all of them. I found it while looking for loads for a Pedersoli 45-70. I'm sure others could give you an idea of loads if you can't find it. The Pedersoli was listed as a middle strength action and was fun to load for. It went away when something else caught my eye.
