M/1884 Springfield Trapdoor Extractor Spring Replacement #2045124 02/25/08

OP jmkell33 Campfire Member Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 191 Massachusetts	Just picked up a Trapdoor with missing cam latch spring and missing extractor spring and spindle. Replaced the cam latch spring - no problem. But, replacement of the extractor spring, spindle, and extractor is some kind of an SOB. Anyone have a secret method of replacing this component? I just can't get the extractor, spring and spindle, and the receiver to mate up properly. Oh well, I'll make a run to my friendly local gunsmith and pay him to go crazy. Thanks, Regards, Jack
