Does anyone have any experience with these scopes? And, does one have an advantage over the other for late evening hunting. It will be mounted on my mx 10 257 weatherby for hunting whitetails here in south texas from a stand. It will not be in a scabbard , or recieve any rough treatment.
Thanks boys

I own four 3x10x42s and have owned two 3x9x36's that were sold recently with the rifles they were mounted on.I have had no problems at all with any of these scopes and have been very pleased with the brightness and optical clarity that they offer. Some of these scopes have spent many hours in a saddle scabbard in the mountains and have held zero perfectly.

I have two of the 3-10x42 scopes and like them very much. I chose the 3-10 simply as it was not much bigger than the 3-9 but a bit more glass. also have the 4-12x50 and it fits well also.
