Hey guys,
I'm working on my first Baikal, an IZH 27 20 gauge O/U. It double fires as well as having a broken extractor. I've got the doubling solved (at least I think I do...can't test fire it yet due to the broken extractor).
EAA sent a replacement extractor but it isn't completely machined...not even close. I have an email in to them but haven't heard back yet (tried the phone but they close at 4:00 EST). Does anyone know if these are meant to be hand fitted, or is this simply a quality control lapse?
It's been my experience (although limited) that in this age of modern CNC machinery (and especially when dealing with lower end guns) that hand fitting is limited to sears, triggers, etc. Any thoughts?
