Who has the ability to weld up a .535 bolt face and reopen it to .473?
Need someone with reliable talent.

Rather than weld it up, why not soft-solder in a ring instead? There would be a little mechanical stress on the ring during chambering, but that shouldn't be a problem with tin-silver solder.

Woodchuck,
I would also be more inclined to solder a partial ring in. I've done this before. Stainless or blued? GD

That being the case, I would rather solder a partial ring in place rather than weld. GD

You don't want silver solder as it's melting point(1200F) might very well compromise the heat treatment of the bolt head. I would use 96% tin-4% silver solder which melts at about 500F and is very strong.
