Me too... fingers crossed as I have a reasonable shot of drawing goat, bighorn, deer this year. PPs for everything else.

What does it cost for just a preference point for elk? Can it be done totally online?
Thanks...............Jeff

Elk is about $250. I'd have to check on the exact amount. It can all be done online. I think CO prefers you to do it that way. Tom

Thanks...............Jeff Go to the Colorado Division of Wildlife web site- all the info you need for drawing, regs, etc. can be found there.

Cow, Buck, and any Moose in either of two zones. Will pick up a OTC Bull tag. Put in for Moose for twelve of the last thirteen years with no luck. Will probably draw right after I die.

Tracks, There's hope- I drew a muzzleloader moose tag in 2006, with max weighted pref points.
What unit did you apply for?
Eventually, you just wear 'em down!!

Eventually, you just wear 'em down!! First choice, Bull unit 17, second choice, Cow unit 17, third, Bull 171, forth Cow 171. Saw a monster Bull in 17 last fall, they are all over in both zones

Just the purchase of an elk non-resident preference point is $50. Last year they delayed that until July 1 to get all the tag apps out of the way.
My home is the "sanctuary residence" for my firearms.

I can't remember when the drawing results come out. It's sometime in June, isn't it?

I think BigWhoop is talking about WY.
I put in for everything but antelope. I've got 8 points but have given up on them------unit 2 was my unit--now I don't know.
Moose---3 plus 7 weighted points---unit 6 sheep 3 plus 1-- unit 15 mtn goat----1 point---no chance--unit 13 elk----1st season---unit 75 deer---point only---next year high country 74 bear----0 points---unit 75 sept, rifle.
With moose, sheep, goats----it's 1st choice----no chance on 2nd, 3rd or 4th. CB
