Ron if I had to hold out for a 10 point where I hunt I would probably forget what vension tastes like! John Not to mention having a huge whitetail population problem ..... does and young bucks taste much better anyway . They don't have the " fever " in em'........ Gee thanks Mike ..... just when I accepted the fact that the season is over - you post this topic . I think Rory wins the prize for putting the most in the freezer

This one's an old picture that I scanned. Way before PA enacted their antler restrictions, probably around 1997 or so. This was a last day buck, shot in the AM of the day I had to leave. This caribou had all the right stuff, double shovels, good tops, decent bez palms, rear points in the back, width, decent points at the tips but it still fell short for the minimum to make book by about 30 inches if i remember correctly, regret that the gun did not make the picture.

Yeah... I read the original post Mr. Gogel. That's what had me rolling!!!
I am glad everyone is getting their fever up again!! It's really not that far away!! Turkey here in N.Y. starts in 22 days. Good early scouting while turkey hunting!!
Mike...

You need to come out west for a bit, Don. That there may be the size of an eastern deer, but it ain't a deer. Speed goats are small and stack well..

My first 308F buck Gary I Had just Thought Of If these Photos Will be Collectable 25-50 Years From Now as the ones that You and I or You Share With Others From time to time! I can see our kids as they get older doing the same perhaps!

Hey, one of those is mine! I forgot I had posted that and even that I had that picture. Thanks! ...Actually, maybe it isn't.... does anybody claim this pic? That looks exactly like my gun and looks like a deer that I shot except it should be in snow, not leaves. Whose is that? I hope you don't mind, I just put it on my desk top as the picture I wish I had taken. Wayne

I have thought the same thing Steve. Makes me think about trying to take better hunting pics. Somthing that sombody might actually want to look at. Im also working on going through my personal hunting photos and making some notes on the back. I always wonder the who, where, and when of the pics we pick up.

Very nice, Steve! Even though I hate to argue with success, we're going to have to get you out one of these seasons with a tomato stake. Maybe 2008 should be the year for 99T's to go hunting?

Rory Used The Tomato Stakes On Does,,, But Never had the Camara With This Year gonna Hopefully Hunt with a T. But that 7mm-08 is deadly! Kinda Hard to Put a Reliable Success Down if You Know what I mean.
