A friend from Quebec likes to bring his stter out west for huns and shapries. It takes the dog a short while to adjust from the ruffie and woodcock thickets but he does make the switch.

The one I will be counting onb for this coming fall. She will be two this Sep't. I was very pleased with her work last year. Hunted close in which I want and had a good nose. The Setter above is like I said a friend's dog and he is trialed so works big. Huns and sharpies do not hold well so i hope the Weimer's closer range is a benefit.
