Can anyone tell me if a Leupold VXIII 2.5-8 will fit with Talley lightweight low mounts on a Rem. 700 Mtn. Rifle or would I have to go to the medium height to get clearance between the objective and the receiver/barrel? Thanks.

Don't know for sure, but I think you'll be fine. I think I've read before that the Low Talley's are almost equivalent to most others mediums.

The whole package fits veddy nicely.
Heck, a 6x42 Sightron Big Sky fits Talley Lows on mine ...

Talley lows are actually a lot of other manufacturer's "mediums".......No trouble there...

I had a the same question a while ago. I ordered both heights and the lows worked perfectly. As a matter of fact, I wish they were a little lower!
