I have not shot one... Is it truly a 16 gauge frame? The 12s are plenty heavy... But a great pump IMO&E.

I agree completely, especially for left-eyed shooters, THE real domain of the BPS.

I bought my first BPS when I was 12 after a lot of saving.(12 guage) I bought another 12 with the invector system when I was in my 20's. A few yrs ago , while in my 30's, I bought a 28 guage.
I also grew up shooting my uncle's old Marlin 1895 (which he has since left me) in 16 guage.
Now, I can have my favorite shotgun in a great guage AND on a 20 frame.
I can't wait to get my hands on one!!
