After two frustrating mornings of gobblers coming close, but not close enough to shoot, I finally bagged my bird with less than 10 minutes left of my 2nd morning.

20 pounds
8 inch beard
3/4 inch spur

My digital broke down on me though and have to wait for development on my backup disposable cam...

There is room for all of God's creatures...right on my plate next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.

Not till Memorial Day if I'm lucky. I just hung it over the side of my Dad's Gator and held up the head, and spread the fan.

The fun part of this was that that was one of the smaller Tom's on the property. These things had access to 4 corn fields all winter. They are B.I.G.
